The US Air Force has just taken delivery of four more automated surface weather observing systems (ASOS).
ASOS, used by the Federal Aviation Administration and National Weather Service, provides pilots and air traffic controllers with up-to-the-minute weather data to improve air safety.
The system is produced by AAI Corporation's Systems Management subsidiary.
