Lufthansa chairman Jurgen Weber is to ask the Lufthansa supervisory board for permission to purchase the Airbus A380. German media reports that Lufthansa is seeking five or six of the 550-seaters. Weber indicated in May when announcing the carrier's annual results that he had been converted to the A380 concept and was keen to get approval to buy the aircraft.
