Western Aircraft, of Idaho, USA and recently sold by Morrison Knudsen (MK), has appointed new co-owner Allen Hoyt as president to head a new management team. Hoyt was previously with Western, between 1982 and 1992 and most recently, was president and general manager of Western sister company Satellite Aero. In the new team, Ken Hawk is promoted to vice-president of fixed-base operator services, Tim Hilde becomes vice-president of sales and marketing (for both Western and Satellite), Dennis Phillips is the new avionics manager and Carl Whitney is appointed director of maintenance.
