A new winglet system BLR Aerospace (booth 3708) claims will improve the efficiency of the Beech King Air B200 has gained Federal Aviation Administration approval.
Dave Marone, BLR director of sales and marketing, says the Super King Air 200 winglet system is now available.
“They’re here and they work,” says Marone. “It will reduce drag, save fuel, increase cruise speed and rate of climb while improving handling.” He adds that production tooling for the winglets is complete. BLR plans to deliver its first shipset to Cutter Aviation later this month.
