Flight tests of the first Boeing 757-200 with the Aviation Partners Boeing blended winglet have begun on one of launch customer Continental Airlines' aircraft. The modification is expected to lower fuel consumption by up to 5%, depending on route length, or to extend range by up to 370km (200nm), says the company.
