Winnipeg River Aircraft of Manitoba, Canada is now a General Electric authorised service centre for M601 and H80 turboprop engines. The H80, scheduled to enter service on the Thrush 510 later this year, is based on the Walter M601. GE bought Walter Engines in 2008.

GE Aerospace’s deliveries of Leap turbofans slowed significantly in the second quarter of 2024 due to lingering supply chain troubles, with the company’s chief executive describing the quarter as “disappointing”.
