Central European budget carrier Wizz Air is to extend its agreements with Lufthansa Technik for Airbus A320 and A321neo maintenance services.
The agreement extends the component support pact for Wizz’s A320-family fleet, and will cover the 110 A321neos to be introduced by the budget airline from 2019.
Lufthansa Technik says the contract runs to 2022.
Wizz has agreed an aircraft overhaul contract for the aircraft, which will take place at Lufthana Technik’s Budapest facility.
It has also opted for regular engine washing of the International Aero Engines V2500 powerplants on the jets, to be carried out with the Budapest-based Cyclean service station.
