Central European low-cost carrier Wizz Air has signed a further lease agreement with China's CDB Leasing – this time for six Airbus A321s that will begin delivering later this year.
China Development Bank's leasing arm and the airline did not release details of the transaction.
Wizz operates a fleet of 63 A320s – six of which were also financed by CDB Leasing and were delivered between 2014 and 2015.
The carrier will take delivery of its first A321 in November, followed by another unit in December. These aircraft are part of an existing order with Airbus.
Wizz also recently confirmed a new order for 110 new A321neos initially agreed during this year's Paris air show. If approved by shareholders, the units will begin delivering in 2019.
