Pegasus Aviation has ordered 23 additional FedEx Aviation Services (FEASI)Boeing 727 Stage 3 hushkits, bringing its total order to 44 kits. United Airlines recently exercised options for 16 kits, bringing its orders to 75. Santa Barbara Aerospace (SBA) is to re-engine all four of its Boeing 727-200Adv freighters to BFGoodrich's Super 27 configuration. The aircraft will be modified at SBA's hangar in San Bernardino, California, beginning this month, with firm orders for two to be converted this year and options for two to be converted next year. Two private Middle Eastern operators have also placed commitments for the Super 27 upgrade. South Korea's Asiana Airlines has signed a $30 million 10 year contract with Rolls-Royce, covering engine maintenance for its new International Aero Engines V2500-powered Airbus A321s, Two aircraft are currently operated. Garuda Indonesia as signed a three-year contract with SAirGroup subsidiary SR Technics for maintaining the airline's Airbus A330 fleet. SR Technics will supply Garuda with spare parts with a guaranteed delivery lead time, while the airline will send unserviceable components to the Swiss company. Garuda will pay about $2.84 million a year under the contract's terms. Boeing says it has signed an agreement granting exclusive marketing and distribution rights for surplus commercial aircraft parts to the AGES Group. Boeing and AGES will share the net revenue of the surplus parts sales. Braathens Malmo Aviation of Sweden has awarded British Midland Engineering a contract for heavy maintenance and installation of Rockwell Collins traffic collision and avoidance systems (TCAS), on four Fokker 100s. ARINC's San Diego, California, engineering centre has received US Federal Aviation Administration certification as a repair station. The centre is licensed to perform removal, inspection, test, repair and installation of radio and radio navigation equipment.
