Goodrich has signed a 15-year agreement to maintain the nacelles and thrust reversers on AirTran Airways' Rolls-Royce BR710-powered Boeing 717s for a fixed cost per flight hour. Lufthansa Technik (LHT) has received a five-year contract from Algerian airline Khalifa Airways to maintain its two Airbus A340-300s and one A320 under LHT's Total Technical Support (TTS) package. The aircraft will be serviced at Khalifa's facilities in Algiers. Meanwhile, Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium has contracted LHT subsidiary Lufthansa Technik Brussels to provide line maintenance for its five Airbus A320s. The Belgian start-up has also contracted FLS Aerospace for 'C' checks. Saab Aviocomp has been appointed by Embraer as an authorised service centre for components installed on the Brazilian manufacturer's aircraft. MTU Maintenance Hanover has won a five-year contract from HeavyLift Cargo Airlines to provide maintenance services on the airline's CF6-50C2s powering its fleet of four Airbus A300B4 freighters. Air Canada has signed a six-year, C$12 million ($7.5 million) contract to provide maintenance for USA 3000 Airlines' Airbus A320s. Rolls-Royce has been awarded a $350 million "Total Care" contract from Cathay Pacific covering the Trent 700 engines which power its A330-300s. JetBlue has signed a five-year deal with EADS Sogerma Services' Lake Charles, Louisiana-based EADS Aeroframe Services for maintenance of its A320 fleet. Air Jamaica has also signed a long-term contract with the US division for Airbus maintenance.
