Finnish airline Air Botnia has signed a JetSpares parts support contract with BAE Systems Regional Aircraft which will include its existing fleet of five Avro RJ85s and the four new aircraft that it has agreed to lease later this year.

East Line's Technik maintenance division, which is based at Moscow Domodedovo airport, has been awarded European JAR 145 certification, enabling it to perform A and B checks on Boeing 737-300 to -900 series aircraft, 757-200s and 767-200/300s. East Line says it is the first Russian company to receive such approval for Boeing aircraft.

Deutsche BA has contracted FLS Aerospace to overhaul the outboard flap carriages on its fleet of 16 Boeing 737-300s. The contract, which has begun and will run for 18 months, is worth $400,000. FLS also recently won contracts from Air Malawi and Hola Air for auxiliary powerplant support, and overhaul of their 737s.

Yemenia has signed a five-year contract with Sabena Technics to provide component repair, overhaul and testing and component standard exchange for four Airbus A310s and one Boeing 737-200.
