Just when you thought there were "too many airshows" around the planet comes news of a global trio of shows to mark the 100th anniversary of the Wright brothers' historic flight in 1903.

Kallman Associates plans an Aviation World's Fair in 2003 - in South America in March, Europe in June and North America in August.

The organisers plan to honour the achievements of flight from the Wright brothers through to space flight, featuring everything from general aviation and ballooning to commercial and supersonic flight.
