Xiamen Airlines is considering a separate listing to that of its parent carrier, China Southern Airlines, on either the Hong Kong exchange or a local bourse. The move has been approved by the airline's board, but final go-ahead will have to wait until China Southern completes its planned flotation. China Southern owns 60% of Xiamen, with the municipal and provincial authorities holding the rest.
