Yeltsin arms shake-up

Russian President Boris Yeltsin has sacked the head of the country's arms export agency, Rosvooruzheniye, and decreed that a new organisation be set up under MAPO-Bank chairman Yevgeny Ananyev. Yeltsin has also given some other organisations permission to trade arms, supplanting the previous monopoly situation.
