The first Cessna Citation Mustang very light jet not designated for US Federal Aviation Administration certification testing made its first flight on 15 June, two weeks ahead of schedule. The aircraft, serial number 003, is the first to be built at Cessna’s Independence, Kansas facility and will be used as a customer demonstrator. The Mustang flight test programme has now amassed over 1,250h, says Cessna.
