Canada will receive bids by 17 October for the latest part of its interim contracted airborne training services requirement, which seeks a business jet-class aircraft for threat simulation, target towing and electronic-warfare tasks. Meggitt Defence Systems Canada is expected to offer a fleet of Dassault Falcons and Israel Aircraft Industries Westwinds, but Bombardier could ignore the request over concerns about government demands on liability.
