The 1,000-seat airliner might still be just the stuff of a feasibility study, but students at the Coventry University School of Art & Design in the UK have been visualising what its cabin interior may look like. The winner of a recent design competition for the students, sponsored by Ogle Design and with judges from British Airways, British Aerospace and Flight International, was Robert Egan. His design envisages a four-deck aircraft, with central access and services core, whose lowest level houses an atrium/nightclub.
