The first A380 test aircraft, MSN001, kicked of its Asia-Pacific demonstration tour in Singapore on 11 November. During the Australian segment, which comprised visits to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, the A380 took time out for a fly by of the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The aircraft is due to visit Kuala Lumpur tomorrow (17 November).
At Dubai next week, Airbus says that the second A380 development aircraft, MSN004, will fly each day during the show wearing Emirates colours - the first time that the A380 has been adorned in a full airline livery. Emirates was the first airline to select the A380 and is the largest customer for it, with plans to operate 45, including two on lease and two freighters.
