Asian Aerospace 2000 has been given a resounding thumbs up and described as the perfect place to do business in one of the world's key marketplaces.

"We've had a wonderful show. Much better than Asia '98," says William Lucas from US company Litton. "We've had lots of people come by the stand. I've done more business in four days than I would do in six months. We'll certainly be back next time."

Noam Zafrir from Israel Aircraft Industries says: "We have had the best of both worlds - quality and quantity. A lot of delegations have visited our stand from around the globe. We've had many meetings that will almost certainly be followed up over the coming months."

Jarle Nilsen from Norwegian firm Kongsberg says: "There's certainly been a lot more people in the halls compared with two years ago. In particular, we have played host to more military and government officials than ever before. We've also been able to say hello to a lot of our customers in this region."

Peter Van Aken from Stork, Fokker Aerostructures, says: "It's been a very busy show, which is just what we were hoping for. One of the main messages we wanted to get out was the fact that Fokker name is still alive and kicking, despite the company going bankrupt four years ago.
