AAR has entered into an agreement with Liebherr-Aerospace to provide landing gear MRO services for the Embraer E-jet family.
AAR's landing gear facility in Miami will service operators that fly the aircraft.
Liebherr-Aerospace developed the landing gear system on Embraer E-170/175/190/195 aircraft. The agreement with AAR allows the MRO to acquire and maintain updated technical information on the aircraft.
"We are already seeing RFPs from E-Jet operators. With more than 500 E-jets operating in the Americas and more than 900 worldwide, the agreement with Liebherr-Aerospace further positions AAR as a top global MRO," says AAR's vice president of aircraft components and landing gear services Pastor Lopez.
