Aeroflot Russian International Airlines has introduced its first Boeing aircraft acquired directly from the US manufacturer, one of 10 Boeing 737-400s ordered by the airline. The remainder of the 131-seaters will be introduced by February 1999 to be operated on European routes. The Russian carrier has been operating two leased 767-300ERs since 1994.
