Air Canada has completed an aircraft sale-leaseback agreement that will provide about C$565 million ($355 million) of new funding for the airline. It says the agreement with GE Capital Aviation Services involves the sale and leaseback of 16 Airbus A320s and one A319. Air Canada says it will also lease six new Airbus aircraft, either A319s or A320s to coincide with the return of older A320s in 2003 and 2004.
