Overseas routes have fuelled a turn-around in Air Canada's fortunes, prompting it to look for six used Airbus A340s and Boeing 767s so it can further boost its international route capacity this summer. It reported a third quarter operating profit based largely on an unexpected rebound in international traffic and yield. Revenue grew twice as fast as capacity, with Asia and Latin America doing especially well.
