Cayman Airways has contracted Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance to provide component support for a Boeing 737.
AFI KLM E&M says it already serviced the 737-800 for its previous operator before it joined Cayman Airways' fleet in December.
Flight Fleets Analyzer indicates the 2003-vintage twinjet belongs to Air Lease and was previously part of Norwegian's fleet.
Cayman Airways' agreement with AFI KLM E&M includes pool access and logistics services, and comes under the MRO group's partnership with Boeing for components on 737s and 777s.
The Caribbean airline's fleet includes four 737-300s not covered by the agreement. But Cayman Airways' vice-president maintenance & engineering Wayne Miller states that the new deal will lay "foundations for a strong partnership going forward".
Cayman Airways has ordered four 737 Max 8 jets.
