Air France-KLM has contracted Panasonic Avionics to equip 10 new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with eX2 in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems.
The first aircraft is scheduled to enter service with Air France in March 2010. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
"With this selection, Panasonic will provide Air France a dynamic in-flight entertainment system including the features and functionality passengers expect from IFE today," says the IFE firm in a statement.
"Additionally, the eX2 product will provide Air France with a robust application and communication hosting platform that will allow them to truly tailor their IFE solution to meet their unique requirements."
Since early 2008, Panasonic's eX2 has been running on KLM's 777s.
