Air India has issued a tender seeking MRO services for the auxillary power units (APUs) used on its 15 Boeing 777s.
The tender calls for responses from US Federal Aviation Administration or European Aviation Safety Agency certificated firms to provide repair services for the Honeywell 331-500 APUs, over a period of three years.
Complying bidders will have to demonstrate their capability at managing repairs and overhauls on the specified type of APU, and will also be required to sign an integrity pact.
Bids are due by 4 July 2014 at Air India’s Mumbai office.
