Pacific carrier Air Tahiti Nui has agreed a heavy maintenance pact with Sabena Technics covering a pair of Airbus A340s.
Sabena Technics will carry out the C-checks on the aircraft at its Bordeaux facility from November this year.
Air Tahiti Nui had selected the maintenance firm for heavy checks and painting on one of its A340s earlier this year.
Vice-president of operations for the carrier Gerard Maurin says that Sabena Technics’ performance and guarantees influenced its choice following a request for proposals.
