AirAsia will launch new services to India and Indonesia in the coming months.
Starting on 27 March, the low-cost carrier will launch twice-weekly Kuala Lumpur-Pontianak and Johor Bahru-Medan services, it says.
This will be followed with thrice-weekly Kuala Lumpur-Vishakhapatnam services on 7 May.
All of the new services will be operated using Airbus A320s.
FlightMaps Analytics shows that AirAsia will be the only operator on the Kuala Lumpur-Pontianak and Johor Bahru-Medan routes. It will compete with Malindo Air on the Kuala Lumpur-Vishakhapatnam route.
