AirAsia X has appointed Cheok Huei Shian as its new chief financial officer.
Cheok, whose appointment was effective 25 February, will be responsible for corporate finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, as well as investor relations.
She joined AirAsia in 2004 and has served as chief financial officer at Indonesia AirAsia and AirAsia Zest in the Philippines.
Cheok replaces Chew Eng Loke, who has decided to pursue other opportunities, says the Malaysian carrier.
