Airbus is expecting to set a new delivery record in 2012 as it ramps up production of its aircraft families.
The airframer predicted that it would deliver 570 aircraft, up from the figure of 534 in 2011.
Speaking at the manufacturer's annual briefing in Hamburg, Airbus chief Tom Enders added that the company would aim for 600-650 commercial orders.
He said the production of the A320 would increase to 42 aircraft per month, while that for the A330 would reach 9.5 per month and the A380's would head "towards" three per month.
Airbus delivered 26 A380s in 2011, up from 18 in 2010. It also delivered a record 421 A320-family jets and matched its 2010 level for A330 deliveries, at 87.
