Airbus has hiked its catalogue prices by 2.6% on average, pushing the price of the A350-900 to $295 million.
The price adjustment, which took effect from the beginning of the year, also means the A380 sells at $414 million and the A350-1000 at $341 million.
Airbus’s A320neo will cost $102 million as a result of the change, which the airframer disclosed at its annual results briefing in Toulouse. The current A320 has a list price of $94 million.
The company applies a standard escalation formula to calculate the new list prices, although customers tend to benefit from substantial discounts.
“Our new 2014 pricing reaffirms the unbeatable value of Airbus’ modern, fuel-efficient aircraft family,” says Airbus chief operating officer for customers John Leahy.
