Airbus intends to use its 'strong cash position' to help customers struggling with financing, according to EVP programmes Tom Williams.
Though he cautioned that the manufacturer had no wish to "burn" all its cash, he acknowledged that it had 'flexibility to manoeuvre'. "Since September many airlines had experienced difficulty in drawing down financing committed by banks," he said.
