Atlantic Southeast Airlines has ordered 30 Canadair Regional Jets, taking options on a further 60, with deliveries starting in August 1997. In addition Lufthansa CityLine has placed orders for three Regional Jets plus three options, with deliveries scheduled for March 1997 and January and February 1998.

Condor has ordered six Airbus A320s, with deliveries starting in the first half of 1998, while Aces Colombia has placed orders for four A320s plus options for another four.

Lufthansa has ordered one A340, to be delivered during the first half of 1998.

Onur Air has ordered an additional A321, with delivery scheduled for November.

Jet Airways has ordered six Boeing 737-800s and four B737-400s, for delivery between 1998 and 2000.

EVA Air has ordered two B747-400s and two MD-11s, with deliveries from late 1997.

Atlantic Coast Airlines has ordered twelve J41s, with deliveries starting in early 1997 and continuing to 1999.

Uzbekistan Airways has ordered three Avro RJ85s, for delivery in 1997.

Air Tahiti has ordered three ATR72-210As, plus one option, and Air Guadeloupe and Venezuelan airline IAACA have each ordered one ATR72-210. Air Lithuania has ordered an ATR42-300.
