Airbus has sold a Sharklet-equipped ACJ319 jet to an undisclosed Chinese customer, taking the number of Airbus corporate jets ordered by customers in greater China to 25.
"China is a relatively new market for corporate jets, as well as having one of the highest economic growth rates, making it a bright spot in today's business jet market, especially at the top end where Airbus corporate jets serve with distinction," says Airbus chief operating officer for customers, John Leahy.
"The Chinese business jet market also favours the ability to carry larger groups, for which Airbus corporate jets are especially well suited," he adds.
