Zhejiang Loong Airlines has signed an auxiliary power unit (APU) maintenance support agreement with Pratt & Whitney AeroPower (P&W).
The agreement will cover the carrier’s 30 Airbus A320s on order, which will be delivered from 2015. This includes nine A320neos.
P&W says that its APS3200 APU is already installed on the six A320s already in its fleet.
“Loong Airlines is seeking to expand flight routes to provide more connections and frequency in order to meet the growing travel demand of domestic passengers,” says the airline’s chairman Liu Qihong.
