Abu Dhabi business aviation services provider Al Jaber Aviation entered the record books on 23 December after completing the longest commercial flight with an Embraer Lineage 1000.
The VIP variant of the E190 regional jet – registration A6-AJI – flew from Beijing, China to Al Jaber’s headquarters in Al Bateen Executive Airport. The journey lasted 10h 4mins. “This is the longest flight ever for AJA and the longest commercial flight for a Lineage 1000,” the company says.
