Allegiant Air will continue to expand in California when it launches service from its newest base--Los Angeles International airport--from 12 destinations in May.
Las Vegas-based Allegiant will start service from its seventh base to Grand Junction, Colorado and Medford, Oregon on 1 May.
The next day, the company will offer flights to Missoula, Montana and Allegiant's Bellingham, Washington base, followed by Monterey, California and Springfield, Missouri on 3 May.
The low-cost carrier will inaugurate remaining city pairs later in the month.
Billings, Montana flights begin on 22 May, followed by Fargo, North Dakota Sioux Falls, South Dakota Wichita, Kansas on 23 May.
McAllen, Texas and Des Moines, Iowa service round out the launch on 24 May.
Las Angeles is the leisure carrier's latest California destination. The airline recently launched flights to San Diego and Oakland, both of which it has considered developing into bases.
Allegiant has bases at Orlando Sanford and Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg.
The carrier also launched bases to Florida's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport and Williams Gateway airport in Mesa, Arizona in 2007.
