Boeing subsidiary Alteon Training is placing a 737-700/-800 full flight simulator and a 737-700/-800 and 777 flat panel trainer in Aeromexico's facility at Mexico City International airport, to support the airline's growing fleet.

"Aeromexico chose to expand its 737 fleet to generate savings in its operations," says Pat Gaines, president of Alteon. "We are pleased to offer a local training solution that will increase Aeromexico's training value and support other airlines in the region."

Carlos Bonilla, Aeromexico's senior communications vice-president, adds: "This simulator expands Aeromexico's ability to perform on-site training."
