A company which has its main trading base ‘down under' is hoping to make a big impression on the European market at Farnborough.

Ansett Aircraft Spares and Services (AASS) operates out of Melbourne and was originally formed to provide engineering product support for Ansett Australia Airlines. It has since expanded with sites in the US and Britain, and now provides a total spare parts service ranging from nuts and bolts, to $7 million engines.

Mark Byrne, sales manager at the company's UK headquarters at Heathrow, says: "We have most of the world's airlines as customers and in addition we supply to third party overhaul shops.

AASS is in Hall 3/F17.
