Air New Zealand (ANZ) is launching a non-stop service between Rotorua and Sydney.
The twice-weekly non-stop service will launch on 12 December using a 152-seat A320, says ANZ.
"Rotorua is an iconic tourism destination and well known amongst Australian travellers," it says.
"We see the potential for good passenger numbers from Australia and the continued strength of inbound tourism from there has lent weight to our decision," it adds.
