Comtas is targeting the aviation industry with its armour parts, designed to protect electronic equipment, pilot seats and other sensitive areas of the aircraft.
The composition of the material used by the company is a closely guarded secret but has already proved successful in the automotive field.
More familiar to this industry are Comtas' structural mouldings for aircraft interiors.
Backrests, farrings, main landing gear doors and overhead racks are among the many products that can be made to order and the company already boasts a number of leading names among its customers for these products including Fairchild, Recaero and BFGoodrich.
