French simulator manufacturer Aslim is demonstrating the latest version of its G-Sim 30 simulator here at the show. Equipped with a 185¡ screen the unit offers two single engine flight models (SEP100 and SEP135) in a single flight trainer.

Aslim says the simulator is designed to comply with JAR STD A4 regulations and is certified as a Basic Instrument Training Device. The device, newly designed and built this year by Aslim - a European leader on the flight trainer market - is activated using a re-loadable smart card system.

G-sim 30 comes with an instructor's station containing several options for managing different flight phases. It monitors the horizontal and vertical movements of the aircraft displaying runways, waypoints and beacons on a map. A meteorological page enables the user to select different weather conditions and the instructor can activate different simulated temperature rises and instrument failures.

Visitors to the show can try the simulator at Aslim's stand (Hall 1, Stand B20).
