Australian regional carrier Skywest Airlines has reported a 26% growth in passenger traffic in January.
RPKs grew 26% year-on-year, says the airline. In terms of real numbers, passengers carried rose 18% to 24,000, adds the carrier.
Capacity, as measured by ASKs, rose 17%, says Skywest. As a result, the passenger load factor grew 3.5 percentage points to 49.5%, it adds.
The airline has 16 aircraft, up from 14 a year ago, says Skywest.
