The Austrian aerospace industry is making a debut appearance at Dubai. Teaming up on its national pavilion are seven specialist companies ranging from a software developer to a light aircraft manufacturer.
One is Frequentis, the communication and information systems developer.
Frequentis holds 30% market share in the field of voice communication for air traffic control, making it the world's market leader in this sector. Its presence at Dubai 2005 is expected to generate interest from regional airport project developers and operators.
The Austrian pavilion (W902) also includes WFL Millturn Technologies, the world's only manufacturer focusing on the production of multifunctional turning-drilling-milling centres, and Axis Flight Training Systems.
