Farnborough International is determined to help the unmanned aerial systems industry get access to the mainstream aerospace audience.

The organizers of one of the world's largest air shows is to team with AUVSI to present an unmanned systems showcase at the Farnborough show in the UK in July next year. The area will be open to all unmanned systems including aerial and ground vehicles to exhibit. More than 250,000 visitors attend the show.

The zone was launched successfully in 2010 and will be expanded for next year's event. Specially priced, inclusive packages will be available to exhibitors in the Zone to maximize value. Features of the showcase will include an indoor demonstration area for flying small UAS and for demonstrating UGS. Larger unmanned systems are also invited to participate in static displays within the area.
