Aviation Group chief executive Lee Sanders promises further niche acquisitions this year as consolidation continues in the US aircraft services business. The latest addition is Aero Design, an aircraft batteries business based in Tennessee, to add to the group's newly formed Component Overhaul &Service division. Aviation Group has already built up businesses in paintshops, airline ground services and fixed base operations.
