Mikhail Pogosyan has been appointed general director of AVPK Sukhoi, replacing Alexei Fedorov. Acting prime minister Sergey Kirienko confirmed the changes last month. Pogosyan's main task will be to prepare the transition of AVPK Sukhoi from a unitary state enterprise into a joint-stock holding company. The holding will include the Sukhoi design bureau: Komsomolsk, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk production plants.
