Mexican start-up Azteca Airlines has received its first Boeing 737-700, on lease from Pegasus Aviation. Azteca began regional operations recently from Mexico City using two 737-300s leased from Bavaria, and will take its second 737-700 at the end of the month. The carrier plans to fly to Chihuahua, Cancun, and also between Monterrey and Cancun. US services are also planned.
