BE Aerospace sank to a loss of $12 million, in its latest financial year, after being forced to write off older in-flight-entertainment systems made obsolete, by its new interactive MDDS systems. The net loss for the year ended 25 February compares with a $5.4 million profit a year ago. Acquisitions again helped the group to push up sales, rising by 13% to more than $229 million.
