Berlin hosted the World Cup final on 9 July and Tempelhof airport registered 2,000 movements between the Saturday and Monday. Berlin Airports reports that all aprons and taxiways were full with business and small aircraft and that the airport, which sees an average 60-70 movements a day, was allowed to conduct 24h operations thanks to the Berlin city authorities, which lifted the curfew outside 06:00-22:00.
